A bright, tangy red currant note — sharply fruity with a natural tartness that sits between fresh berry and a faint jammy sweetness. The character is crisp and vivid, with a slight green edge from the stem that gives it lift and stops it reading as syrupy. It's cleaner and more tart than blackcurrant, with less depth but stronger top-note presence and good diffusion.
