Inspired version of The Aoud by Mancera

Cloves, cinnamon and white pepper over rose and saffron, on oud, cedar and leather. A spiced rose-oud with real heat at the opening.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Warm Spicy, Oud, Rose, Fresh Spicy, Woody
• Top notes: Bergamot, Cloves, Cinnamon, White Pepper
• Middle notes: Rose, Geranium, Saffron
• Base notes: Agarwood (Oud), Woody Notes, Cedar, Sandalwood, Leather, White Musk

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, but test first: the spice can discolour a pale base
