Inspired version of Portrait of a Lady by Frédéric Malle (Quality A)

Orange over cacao and caramel, on vanilla and white musk, with a heavy patchouli spine running through it. Rich, smoky-sweet and famously long-lasting.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Warm Spicy, Balsamic, Rose, Patchouli, Smoky
• Top notes: Orange
• Middle notes: Cacao, Caramel
• Base notes: Vanilla, White Musk

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the resins and woods take heat well
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — expect some discolouration from the vanillin; stable otherwise

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality A is our highest raw-material grade: the richest materials in the range, giving this oil the strongest projection and the longest wear of the grades we offer it in.
