Inspired version of Pegasus by Parfums de Marly

Heliotrope and bitter almond over jasmine and lavender, on amber, sandalwood and vanilla. Creamy almond done soft and powdery rather than sugary.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Almond, Vanilla, Floral, Fresh Spicy, Powdery
• Top notes: Heliotrope, Cumin, Bergamot
• Middle notes: Jasmine, Bitter Almond, Lavender
• Base notes: Amber, Sandalwood, Vanilla

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — rich and sweet on skin; the base gives it real staying power
• Soy and paraffin candles — strong hot throw; the sweet base reads clearly in wax
• Wax melts and tart warmers — one of the better gourmand performers in a warmer
• Reed diffusers — the florals carry a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — expect some discolouration from the vanillin; stable otherwise
