Inspired version of Black Saffron by Byredo

Grapefruit, juniper and saffron over black violet and leather, on cashmeran, raspberry and vetiver. Tart and leathery at once, with a dry berry edge.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Leather, Woody, Sweet, Aromatic, Fruity, Spicy
• Top notes: Chinese Grapefruit, Juniper Berries, Saffron
• Middle notes: Black Violet, Leather
• Base notes: Cashmeran, Raspberry, Vetiver

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw; performs well in most wax types
• Wax melts and tart warmers — holds its character well in a warmer
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
