Inspired version of Black Oud by By Kilian (Quality C)

Rose and cardamom over papyrus, patchouli and cedar, on oud, incense and labdanum. Smoky and dry, with the rose kept firmly in check.

• Accords: Woody, Warm Spicy, Amber, Oud, Rose, Smoky, Balsamic, Musky, Mossy, Fresh Spicy
• Top notes: Rose, Cardamom, Pink Pepper, Geranium
• Middle notes: Papyrus, Patchouli, Cedar, Methyl Pamplemousse
• Base notes: Agarwood (Oud), Incense, Moss, Sandalwood, Musk, Labdanum

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality C is our most economical raw-material grade: the same scent profile, with the lightest projection and the shortest wear of the grades we offer it in.
