Oud with its rougher edges smoothed out — this interpretation layers the deep, resinous character of agarwood over a warm, sweet base that reads as lightly ambered and faintly vanilla-adjacent. The smokiness is present but restrained — approachable enough for everyday wear, yet deep and shadowed enough to reward those drawn to the darker side of fragrance. It settles into a rich, balsamic dry-down with good staying power.
Works well in:
- Body and perfume oils — excellent longevity on skin; approachable enough for everyday wear blends
- Soy and paraffin candles — strong hot throw, stable across most wax systems
- Reed diffusers — warm, enveloping ambient diffusion without the intensity of a raw oud
