Inspired version of Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren

Melon and cucumber over basil and sage, on musk, dry woods and suede. Cool, watery and green, with almost no sweetness.

• Top notes: Melon, Mandarin Orange, Cucumber
• Middle notes: Basil, Sage, Geranium
• Base notes: Musk, Woody Notes, Suede

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — clean burn; keep the load up, since the citrus top fades first in wax
• Room and linen sprays — crisp and clean; a strong choice for a linen spray
• Reed diffusers — carries a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
