Oak Moss Perfume Oil

Dhs. 20.00
Size

Deep, damp, and earthy — oakmoss opens with a cool forest-floor character, resinous and slightly bitter, with a green, almost bark-like undertone. It has the dense, textural quality typical of classic chypre raw materials: dry rather than sweet, with a lingering woody muskiness in the base. A foundational note in fine fragrance, it adds weight and naturalness to blends.

Works well in:

  • Perfume and body oils — skin-safe at standard dilution; highly effective as a blending anchor in woody, chypre, and fougère compositions
  • Soy and paraffin candles — good throw; best used as a supporting note rather than a lead
  • Cold process soap — stable, adds depth to earthy and masculine-leaning bars
  • Reed diffusers — low-diffusion note; works well layered with brighter citrus or floral oils
