Inspired version of Noir de Noir by Tom Ford

Rose and spice over lily-of-the-valley, cedar and sandalwood, on oakmoss, musk and amber. An earthy, truffled rose rather than a bright one.

• Top notes: Bergamot, Spicy Notes, Rose
• Middle notes: Lily-of-the-Valley, Cedar, Lilac, Sandalwood
• Base notes: Oakmoss, Woody Notes, Musk, Amber

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — full and long-lasting; strong enough to lead a blend on its own
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Room and linen sprays — bright and clean on application
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, though the citrus top fades faster in soap than in wax
