Inspired version of XJ 1861 Naxos by Xerjoff

Lavender and citrus over honey, cinnamon and jasmine, on tobacco leaf, tonka bean and vanilla. Honeyed tobacco with a fougère opening, rich and very persistent.

• Top notes: Lavender, Bergamot, Lemon
• Middle notes: Honey, Cinnamon, Cashmeran, Jasmine Sambac
• Base notes: Tobacco Leaf, Tonka Bean, Vanilla

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — strong hot throw; the sweet base reads clearly in wax
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the resins and woods take heat well
• Reed diffusers — carries a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, but test first: the spice can discolour a pale base
