Inspired version of Oud Rosewood by Christian Dior

Raspberry and quince over sandalwood, on oud and rosewood with a faint animalic undertow. Fruity at the top, dry and woody once it opens up.

Fragrance notes

• Top notes: Raspberry, Quince
• Middle notes: Sandalwood, Animal Notes
• Base notes: Agarwood (Oud), Palisander Rosewood

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
