Inspired version of Oud Maracujá by Maison Crivelli

Passionfruit and saffron over oud and patchouli, closing on leather, amber and labdanum. Tropical fruit against dark wood, and the contrast is what makes it.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Woody, Fruity
• Top notes: Passionfruit, Fruity Notes, Turkish Rose, Saffron
• Middle notes: Agarwood (Oud), Indonesian Patchouli Leaf, Benzoin
• Base notes: Leather, Akigalawood, Amber, Labdanum, Vanilla

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
