Inspired version of Imagination by Louis Vuitton

A big citrus opening over neroli, ginger and cinnamon, resolving into black tea, incense and guaiac wood. Bright and spiced at first, dry and smoky at the end.

• Top notes: Citron, Calabrian Bergamot, Sicilian Orange
• Middle notes: Tunisian Neroli, Nigerian Ginger, Ceylon Cinnamon
• Base notes: Chinese Black Tea, Ambroxan, Olibanum, Guaiac Wood

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — clean burn; keep the load up, since the citrus top fades first in wax
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the resins and woods take heat well
• Reed diffusers — the citrus stays legible on reeds longer than most
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, but test first: the spice can discolour a pale base
