Inspired version of Herod by Parfums de Marly (Quality A)

Cinnamon and pepper over tobacco leaf and incense, on a thick vanilla and cedar base. Sweet tobacco done warm rather than smoky, and it lasts.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Tobacco, Vanilla, Warm Spicy, Cinnamon, Sweet, Amber, Woody, Powdery, Musky, Fruity
• Top notes: Cinnamon, Pepper
• Middle notes: Tobacco Leaf, Incense, Osmanthus, Labdanum
• Base notes: Vanilla, Iso E Super, Musk, Cedar, Cypriol (Nagarmotha), Vetiver

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — strong hot throw; the sweet base reads clearly in wax
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the resins and woods take heat well
• Reed diffusers — carries a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, but test first: the spice can discolour a pale base

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality A is our highest raw-material grade: the richest materials in the range, giving this oil the strongest projection and the longest wear of the grades we offer it in.
