Inspired version of Hermessence Ambre Narguile by Hermès

Honey and cinnamon over caramel and tonka bean, with tobacco giving the base a smoky, shisha-like warmth. Sweet, edible and genuinely distinctive.

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the resins and woods take heat well
• Reed diffusers — carries a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable, but test first: the spice can discolour a pale base
