Inspired version of Encre Noire by Lalique (Quality A)

Almost entirely vetiver — dark, earthy and damp, with cypress at the top and cashmere wood softening the finish. Austere, minimal and completely unsweet.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Woody, Aromatic, Green, Earthy, Musky
• Top notes: Cypress
• Middle notes: Vetiver
• Base notes: Musk, Cashmere Wood

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — well balanced; works as the backbone of a blend
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw; performs well in most wax types
• Room and linen sprays — lifts a room quickly without turning heavy
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — stable through cure with minimal discolouration

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality A is our highest raw-material grade: the richest materials in the range, giving this oil the strongest projection and the longest wear of the grades we offer it in.
