Inspired version of Empathy by The House of Oud

Raspberry and tobacco over oud, spruce and benzoin — fruit and smoke pulling in opposite directions. Distinctive, resinous and long-wearing.

Fragrance notes

• Top notes: Raspberry Bloom, Pear Blossom, Artemisia
• Middle notes: Raspberry, Tobacco, Fruity Notes
• Base notes: Agarwood (Oud), Woody Notes, Spruce, Benzoin, Musk

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — the florals carry a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
