Inspired version of Cuir Obscur by Byredo

Almond liqueur and nutmeg over rose and ylang-ylang, on a soft leather and patchouli base. Sweet and smooth where most leathers are dry.

Fragrance notes

• Top notes: Amaretto, Nutmeg
• Middle notes: Rose, Ylang-Ylang
• Base notes: Leather, Patchouli, Musk

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — strong hot throw; the sweet base reads clearly in wax
• Wax melts and tart warmers — one of the better gourmand performers in a warmer
• Reed diffusers — the florals carry a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
