Inspired version of Black Aoud by Montale (Quality A)

A dark rose and oud pairing, the classical Middle Eastern combination, with patchouli and amber weighting the base. Strong, dense and unmistakably traditional.

Fragrance notes

• Top notes: Rose, Woody Notes, Citruses
• Middle notes: Musk, Spicy Notes, Floral Notes
• Base notes: Patchouli, Agarwood (Oud), Amber

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — clean burn; keep the load up, since the citrus top fades first in wax
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality A is our highest raw-material grade: the richest materials in the range, giving this oil the strongest projection and the longest wear of the grades we offer it in.
