Inspired version of Accord Oud by Byredo (Quality A)

An oud built around fruit and spice rather than smoke, turning warm and faintly animalic as it dries down. A modern, wearable oud with none of the medicinal edge.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Woody, Oud, Leather, Fruity, Warm Spicy, Animalic
• Top notes: Saffron, Blackberry, Rum
• Middle notes: Agarwood (Oud), Leather, Clary Sage
• Base notes: Musk, Patchouli

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — the natural fit; deep and long-wearing at low dilution
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood and saffron hold their shape over heat
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw; gives a warm, resinous room note
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality A is our highest raw-material grade: the richest materials in the range, giving this oil the strongest projection and the longest wear of the grades we offer it in.
