Inspired version of Donna by Valentino

Bulgarian rose and iris over a leather and vanilla base, powdery at the top and quietly tough underneath. Classic, feminine and more structured than most rose scents.

Fragrance notes

• Accords: Powdery, Rose, Vanilla, Floral, Leather
• Top notes: Bergamot
• Middle notes: Bulgarian Rose, Iris
• Base notes: Patchouli, Leather, Vanilla

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — strong hot throw; the sweet base reads clearly in wax
• Wax melts and tart warmers — one of the better gourmand performers in a warmer
• Reed diffusers — the florals carry a medium room well
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base
