Inspired version of Matiere Noire by Louis Vuitton (Quality A)

Blackcurrant and jasmine sambac over a dark base of oud, patchouli and incense. Fruity at first meeting, resinous and brooding underneath.

• Accords: Fruity, Amber, Floral, Oud, Warm Spicy, Rose, Woody, Patchouli, Balsamic, Smoky
• Top notes: Blackcurrant Syrup, Watery Notes
• Middle notes: Rose, Cyclamen, Narcissus, Jasmine Sambac
• Base notes: Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli, Incense, Benzoin

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the agarwood holds its shape over heat
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — test first: the oud and leather materials can discolour a pale base

Supplied undiluted and alcohol-free. Quality A is our highest raw-material grade: the richest materials in the range, giving this oil the strongest projection and the longest wear of the grades we offer it in.
