Inspired version of La Nuit Tresor by Lancôme

A dense gourmand: praline, caramel and coffee wrapped around vanilla, with pear and black rose keeping the top from cloying. Sweet, dark and very long-lasting.

Works well in:

• Body and perfume oils — deep and long-wearing even at low dilution
• Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw with a warm, resinous room note
• Bukhoor and incense blends — the resins and woods take heat well
• Reed diffusers — one of the stronger performers on reeds
• Cold process and melt-and-pour soap — expect some discolouration from the vanillin; stable otherwise
