Sharp, green, and unmistakably fresh — citronella opens with a bright lemony character underpinned by a dry, grassy herbaceousness. It has a clean, slightly bitter edge that gives it more presence than a standard citrus; the scent reads as outdoor-fresh rather than sweet. Good diffusion strength and a crisp, linear profile throughout.
Works well in:
- Soy and paraffin candles — strong cold and hot throw, performs well at standard usage rates
