The character is dry rather than sugary, with a crisp top that softens marginally as it dries down. It reads as a confident standalone or as a functional blending note to add herbal brightness to oriental and spicy compositions.
Works well in:
- Reed diffusers and room sprays — strong diffusion, clean projection
- Body and perfume oils — skin-safe at standard dilution, works well in fougère and spice-forward blends
- Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw, best used as a supporting note at moderate usage rates
- Melt-and-pour soap — stable, minimal acceleration
