How to make Soy Tealight Candles

Discover how simple it is to manufacture Soy Tealight Candles!

Tealight candles are an excellent place to start if you've never made candles before. They offer a charming, flickering atmosphere to any area or special occasion, are simple, and can be colored or fragranced for any season.

Step 1: weigh and melt the soy wax.

Then, tare the scale by placing the metal Pouring Pitcher on it. Take 1 lb (454 g) of GB 464 soy wax and weigh it. Heat the wax to 185°F (85°C) using a double boiler or hot plate.

Step 2: Position the wicks in the tealight glasses.

As the wax melts, get your tealight holders ready. Each of your ECO 0.75 pre-tabbed wicks should have a wick sticker attached to the tab. Use the four plastic prongs on the bottom of the tealight cups to assist center each wick as you place it inside the cup.

STEP 3: Mix in the color.

Add 4 drops of Summer Breeze Liquid Dye to the wax when it reaches 185oF (85°C) and slowly swirl for about 2 minutes to properly mix the dye.

Step 4: Mix in the fragrance oil.

Remove from the flame after adding 1 oz (28 g) of Ocean Breeze fragrance oil. Two minutes of gentle stirring.

Step 5: Fill tealight holders with wax.

Pour the wax into the plastic pitcher with a funnel once it has cooled to 135oF (57.2°C). Although it is optional, this step makes it much simpler to pour the little amounts of  Soy Tealight Candles wax required to fill the tealight cups.

Pour carefully and slowly into the ready tealight glasses from the funnel pitcher.

Sixth step:

recenter wicks For safe burning, double-check that each cup's wicks are positioned straight up in the middle. While the wax is still liquid, adjust as necessary.

7th step:

overnight curing of Soy Tealight Candles Before lighting, let them cure for the night.
