Vetiver Perfume Oil
Vetiver Perfume Oil - 30g is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Dry, smoky, and deeply earthy — vetiver has a raw, woody rootiness with a cool, almost ashy quality and a faint green bitterness at the top. It is dense and grounding without being heavy, with a clean dryness that distinguishes it from sweeter earthy notes like patchouli. The dry-down is long and resinous, making it one of the more tenacious base notes available.
Works well in:
- Perfume and body oils — skin-safe at standard dilution; a foundational base note in woody, chypre, and oriental compositions
- Soy and paraffin candles — deep, slow-burning throw; best used as a supporting or anchor note
- Cold process soap — stable and long-lasting, adds an earthy, sophisticated backbone to masculine-leaning bars
- Reed diffusers — low but persistent diffusion; effective layered with citrus or floral top notes
- Wax melts and tart warmers
