The sweetness is refined rather than sugary, with a powdery warmth in the dry-down that gives it excellent longevity. It functions as both a standalone base note and a reliable fixative that rounds and anchors heavier oriental and gourmand compositions.
Works well in:
- Soy and paraffin candles — excellent hot throw, stable in most wax types
- Body and perfume oils — skin-safe at standard dilution, strong longevity on skin
- Wax melts and tart warmers — performs well, good cold and hot diffusion
- Melt-and-pour and cold process soap — colour-stable, minimal acceleration
- Reed diffusers and room sprays — projects warmly at moderate usage rates
