Dry, smoky, and resinous — this is the clean, crystalline smoke of burning luban (frankincense resin), rendered as a wearable fragrance oil. It has the characteristic bright, slightly citrusy top that frankincense carries before settling into a deeper, balsamic base with a faint powdery finish. The overall character is sacred and grounded without feeling heavy.
Works well in:
- Body and perfume oils — skin-safe at standard dilution, strong sillage and longevity
- Reed diffusers and room sprays — excellent ambient diffusion, authentic incense effect without burning
- Soy and paraffin candles — good hot throw, adds atmospheric depth to any space
