PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil

A solubiliser and emulsifier made from polyethylene glycol and castor oil. It is what lets a fragrance oil disperse into a water-based formula instead of floating on top, which makes it the usual choice for room sprays, mists, toners and cleansers. It also leaves a soft feel on the skin and helps limit moisture loss from the surface.
