The sweetness is restrained and natural, closer to the fruit's flesh than anything confected. It's a quiet, skin-close note best used as a blending element to add creaminess and body to floral, green, and fresh compositions.
Works well in:
- Body and perfume oils — skin-safe at standard dilution, effective as a softening, creamy base note in green and floral blends
- Melt-and-pour and cold process soap — stable, adds a smooth, nourishing character to bar and liquid formulations
- Soy and paraffin candles — works best as a supporting note alongside green, floral, or light woody bases
- Reed diffusers and room sprays — effective at low usage rates as a blending element
